The migration is composed of three core elements;

  1. Migrating you from our legacy console.openbridge.com site to our new app.openbridge.com data automation app.

  2. Migrating from legacy a Starter, Explorer, Pro, and Team pricing plan to a new on-demand, pay-as-you-go flex pricing plan. There are two primary plan options; Standard and Premium.

  3. Lastly, if you are an MWS subscriber, see Step 2 to activate new SP-API connectors.

Step 1: Migration of your account

  1. The first step of transitioning will be to migrate your current account at console.openbridge.com to our new app.openbridge.com data app. Please make a request to support@openbridge.com with the subject line "Migrate Me" if you have not already done so.

  2. Migration will include porting over existing data lake or cloud warehouse destinations and subscriptions*.

  3. Migration will also convert you to one of the new pay-as-you-go flex pricing plans that align with your prior plan type.

  4. Openbridge will perform this transition for you.

  5. Once migration is complete, you get a notification from us that you can log into the new app.openbridge.com to activate and manage your data pipelines.

That is it! You can still log into your old console.openbridge.com, but you will not be able to activate anything new.

Are You An Amazon MWS Subscriber? Step 2: Activating new Amazon SP-API Connectors

As we detailed in the SP-API doc, legacy MWS connectors are being sunsetted by Amazon, while they will show up as a pipeline in your new account, they can only be deactivated or deleted. If you are currently using Amazon MWS, you will need to activate new SP-API connectors.

SP-API is a new Amazon service and requires completely new connectors. SP-API also uses a new Amazon authorization protocol. As a result, you need to activate new SP-API connectors by directly logging into your migrated account and selecting the SP-API connectors that align with your needs.

We have detailed the specifics of MWS to SP-API migration here.

  1. Log into your new app.openbridge.com account.

  2. Select the desired SP-API connector.

  3. The SP-API uses a "Login with Amazon" authorization process. Two links under "Authorization" detail Amazon's new auth process and troubleshooting tips.

  4. Once you have authorized our app, proceed to activate the SP-API connector. If you are currently on a Standard Plan and select a premium SP-API connector, you will need to upgrade to a Premium Plan before activation.

  5. The data will start flowing to your target destination over the next 24 hours (or sooner).

FAQ

When will my MWS Subscriptions no longer work?

Your current MWS subscriptions will still be active after migration. These will remain active until you turn them off or as of Jul 30th, 2022, when Amazon shuts down the MWS service.

Why keep legacy MWS subscriptions active after migration?

You are certainly welcome to log into your legacy account and deactivate them at your convenience. We are keeping them active to ease the transition between MWS and SP-API. Allowing them to run in parallel gives you more time to adjust to variations between the two systems.

What happens to my current Starter, Explorer, Pro, or Team Plan?

These legacy plans have been sunsetted for more flexible pay-as-you-go pricing. Once you have been migrated, we will convert your current plan to either a Standard or Premium Plan, based on your current subscriptions.

Will any credits be issued based on the plan changes?

Yes, we will issue your account with any credits related to the plan change. For example, if you are on a Pro or Team plan, we will issue a credit for the remaining balance you had paid for the current billing period. This credit will be applied to a future billing period where applicable.

Do you have any information on the new app.openbridge.com?

Yes, see Discover The New Openbridge Data App (app.openbridge.com) for more information on this release.

Coming Soon

  • We are excited to have achieved certification for Amazon's new PII requirements. Approval will allow us to support FBM/MFN use cases that require the presence of customer PII. Read more about this here.

  • Amazon recently released Sales and Traffic Reports and Amazon Brand Analytics Reports. After testing is complete, support for these new reports will be released soon.
