How many millions of rows will be generated by Facebook? How about Google Ads? What is the size of data from Shopify? One gigabyte? One hundred gigabytes? How much "compute" time is needed to process Amazon Orders data? How many "credits" do you need to purchase to collect data from Instagram? Don't know the answer to these questions? Neither do we. That is not how pricing should work.
Pricing based on the number of rows, credits, computing resources, or data size is confusing, hard to forecast, and limits your ability to budget. To see just how complex and costly those pricing models can be, check out Understanding Pricing Models Based On Usage Metrics.
Our "Always Know What You’ll Pay" Pricing Model
Rather than charge customers based on quantity rows, the volume of data, or compute time, we chose a simple, easy-to-forecast approach.
Our plans and pipeline pricing are based on a pay-as-you-go model, allowing customers to predict and control their costs. This model ensures that customers will always be in control and understand they are being charged monthly.
Plans & Pipelines
There are two simple, easy-to-understand components of pricing: plans and pipelines. A plan defines the services, and pipelines reflect delivering those services to you.
Plans
Pricing plans define the types of service and support we deliver to you. Each plan offers different levels of support and various kinds of services.
There are two types of support and service: Standard and Premium.
Standard: Various data sources and destinations are marked as Standard services. All plans include these types of services.
Premium: Various data sources and destinations are marked as premium services. Premium services are more complex and require additional resources. Unlike standard services, Premium services (and support ) are only available to select plans.
There are no additional fees for Standard services. If you want access to Premium services, you must select the plan that unlocks Premium services access.
What Is A Data Pipeline?
A data pipeline reflects a connector from a specific data source to a destination processed by Openbridge.
For example, a pipeline connects a data source like Amazon Advertising Sponsored Products to a private, industry-leading data destination like Amazon Redshift, Facebook Presto, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake Storage, Google BigQuery, and Amazon Athena.
Pricing Examples: Amazon Advertising
Let's take Amazon Advertising as our source system, and you want to use Snowflake as a unified destination to store your advertising data.
Example: One Amazon-Sponsored Product Advertising Pipeline
The number of pipelines reflects the specific data source account (Ads Profiles) and reports (Amazon Sponsored Product Data).
Amazon Advertising accounts, or advertiser profiles, are unique per country. Suppose you have 1 Amazon Advertising advertiser profile ID 12345678
for the US. You want to collect Sponsored Product Advertising reports for this account.
This will require one pipeline: Sponsored Product Ad Reports for profile ID 12345678
collected, routed, and loaded to your Snowflake destination.
Example: Three Amazon Sponsored Product Advertising Pipelines
Suppose you have two more Amazon Advertising advertiser profile IDs; ABCDEFGH
and 1234WXYZ
for the US. You want to collect Sponsored Product Advertising reports for all three of your advertiser profiles.
This will result in three pipelines;
Sponsored Product Reports for profile ID
12345678
to SnowflakeSponsored Product Reports for profile ID
ABCDEFGH
to SnowflakeSponsored Product Reports for profile ID
1234WXYZ
to Snowflake
As you can see, pipelines reflect the quantity of distinct Amazon Ads profiles and the data (Sponsored Product reports) you want to collect. For example, if you had 100 profile IDs and wanted to collect Sponsored Product Reports for all 100, this would require 100 data pipelines.
Pipeline Pricing
Here is the breakdown for one pipeline (Sponsored Product Ad Reports for profile ID 12345678
) active for 30 days:
Here is the breakdown for three pipelines (Sponsored Product Ad Reports for profile ID 12345678
, ABCDEFGH
, and 1234WXYZ
) active for 30 days:
As you scale the number of pipelines, the price per pipeline decreases. One pipeline was $44.70 per month, while the three were $28.70 per pipeline per month.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are there discounts based on the number of pipelines activated?
Yes, all plans offer significant cost savings as you increase the number of active pipelines. Savings tiers provide a flexible pricing model that offers lower prices as the volume of active pipelines increases. With scalable pipeline pricing, you can save over 70% on your pipeline costs as you grow.
Do you charge for BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Azure, or other cloud warehouse and data lake services?
No, there are no charges from Openbridge for your data lake or cloud warehouse. Those systems are private and owned by you. Any charges from those services are directly billed to you by the data lake or warehouse provider (i.e., Amazon, Google, Microsoft, or Snowflake).
Am I charged if a pipeline is turned off?
You are not charged usage if a pipeline is inactive (i.e., turned off) for a given day in a billing period.
Am I charged for a pipeline if it was briefly activated and turned off?
Yes, pay-as-you-go means you are only charged for the duration the pipeline was active, regardless of the volume of data processed. A data pipeline counts as active, irrespective of the activation period on a given day.
How are active pipelines calculated each day?
We determine active pipelines by calculating the count of active pipelines daily using UTC. You pay for all active pipelines within your account except during a trial period.
Are there charges for inactive pipelines?
No, there are no charges for inactive pipelines. Inactive pipelines are those you have "turned off" in the Openbridge application interface.
Are there any charges based on the number of rows?
No, there are no charges based on row counts.
How am I billed?
Your usage is calculated each month and automatically applied to your bill. You are billed via credit card.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
No, you pay only for the services you need, as long as you use them, without requiring long-term contracts or complex licensing. You only pay for the pipelines you consume, and once you stop using them, there are no costs for a pipeline, even if it is inactive.
You can remain operationally and financially agile by paying for pipelines as needed.
Are there discounts based on quantities of pipelines?
Yes, as the quantity increases, your cost per pipeline will decrease. A flexible and responsive pricing model ensures our service scales with your growth.
When will I be charged?
You will have access to either standard and premium sources or destinations. We offer a no credit card required, free trial. You will not be asked for a credit card before you start your trial, nor will you be charged during the trial. There will not be any charges unless you decide to order the service at the end of your trial.
We collect and deliver data that will remain in your data lake or warehouse. Before the end of the free trial, you must switch to a paid plan to continue service. If you do not proceed with a paid plan, you will deactivate any setup integrations.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
If you want to upgrade to a different plan, we will prorate the remainder of the current plan with the new plan's charges. The difference between the current cost and the prorated amount will be identified on the Order form.
If you decide to downgrade, you may need to deactivate any premium services if your new plan does not include them.
Are fees refundable?
Unless detailed otherwise, all fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable.
